Come on out and play in the 4 person best shot, featuring the 8 inch cup. Trust me you can lip these suckers out just as easy as the regular holes in the greens. We will have a couples division for those wishing to bring their husbands along to play in the possible cold weather. But it could be 60 degrees also. Red Tee Open at Waverly Hosts 48 golfers having fun

Waverly Golf Course hoste the 4th Annual Red Tee Open. Players receive their 80% of their Handicap and play from our most forward tees. It is a hoot if you have never done it. Tim Kuethe defended his title by shootling the low gross score 69 and low net score of 64 Click on this link to get the results. Legend Trail Pool League Starts November 11th

It is that time of the year, pool league is starting. Get a partner and play in our Thursday Night Pool League that will begin on November 11th at 5:30 pm. We have two fun golf events this weekend at our facilities. Legend Trail is hosting the 2 cup 4 Person Best Shot. 11 am Shotgun start for this one on Saturday, October 16th. Call 319-346-1499 to get more information and to sign up.
At the Waverly Golf Course our ever popular Red Tee Open is on Sunday, October 17th, 11 am shotgun start. You finally get to play the front tees. You will receive 80% of your handicap for this one. Plus you will have an optional Beat the Pro portion for those interested. Greg will play at a zero versus your adjusted handicap, PS bring your A game.
So come join the fun and laughs. Put off hunting until Monday, cuz you can always call in sick to work. Also put off raking the leaves. You need to wait until they all fall down and that may not be until next Spring.
Waverly 4 Person Best Shot

Waverly will play host to its annual fall 4 Person Best Shot on Saturday, October 9th. Tee times from 10 am to noon. Cost is $20 per person plus a special rate for greens fee and cart of $24. Waverly season passes are honored. The Hawks ain’t be a playing so sign up your team now as spots are filling up fast.
Waverly is also hosting the Iowa Golf League Championship sponsored by the Iowa Section of the PGA and Handicomp. You must have been a league player in this system to sign up. So you Legend Trail guys sign up by Sunday, October 3rd to be eligible. Iowagolfleaguechampionship.com
