Drive, Chip & Putt at UNI Basketball Goudy, Bermel Mason to present winners

One of the fun things one gets to do as President of the Iowa Section PGA is to be a part of awards and to recognize achievements. In this case it is our 2010 Drive, Chip & Putt winners. These deserving young men and women will be recognized at halftime of the UNI Basketball game on December 19th. Tess Goudy, assistant Executive Director of the Iowa Section PGA, John Bermel, Head PGA Pro at Pheasant Ridge/Head Men’s and Women’s Golf Coach at UNI and Greg Mason, G3 Golf get to present these award winners to the crowd. The winners and their families will get hosted at the Alumni Suite before the game and watch the game. Season Passes for 2011, Men’s League Payout and…

Season Passes, Men’s League Payout for 2010 and a HUGE Golf Merchandise Sale at Legend Trail so keep reading below for all the information.

It is that time of the year for you to buy your 2011 golf pass.  You may purchase your 2011 season golf pass, driving range pass, trail fee and/or cart shed fee by January 15, 2011 and you will get it at the 2010 price.  Hit this link   Season_Pass_Sign_Up2011-LT_Big and you will see the pricing and the application for membership.  We had a goal of 80 season ticket members in 2010 and we ended with 81.  Our goal in 2011 is 100, but we will need your help.  So start recruiting a friend or better yet friends to come be a part of the fun.

What is be a happening at Legend Trail this Winter

We have a lot of fun events for the coming weeks.  So we will try to keep you informed.   You can always go to the calendar menu and see what is going on.  You may click on the link and there is usually a pdf for you to read, download and print.  Pool league, New Year’s Eve Party, Knuckle Knight and Golf Car Battery care (we try to keep you informed).

Winter Pool League – - begins Thursday, January 13th.  We had 10 2-person teams last year and we’d love to have more of you.  So click on the link, read it over and then sign up at the clubhouse by the office or call our staff.  LT_Pool_League_poster-10

3rd Annual New Year’s Eve Party – - We have had over 100 people each year and we’d love to have you back.  Last year’s dance was a blast as the families played table games until the kids got tired.  Then Louie Cox got the dance floor rolling with his many available dance moves.  We do require reservations for the food, which we will serve from 6 pm to 8 pm.  The dance we do not require reservations.  From your donations last year we gave the A-P Girls Basketball Team over $500.  Thanks.   Click on this link for more information – - LT_New_Years_Eve_Party-10

Knuckle Knight - – this is held every Wednesday night from 5 pm to 7 pm.  It is an annual fee of $5 to join, this will go to a community charity/project at the end of the year.  Then each week you pay a buck, one dollar, a $1 and that gets you your first drink free.  Then half of the money we raise will go to the community charity/project and the other half we will draw a name out of the bucket and they get the cash.  But we need more people so that the payouts are way bigger for both the winner and the community charity/project.  So come be a Knucklehead like the rest of us.

So remember, we are beginning our Third Year of THE TAP ROOM.  We are open all year round, though we are closed on Sunday’s during the Winter Months (at this time).  Grill hours are Monday-Saturday from 6 am to 1:30 pm.  Also Friday and Saturday Nights from 5 pm to 8 pm.  Our Bar hours are Monday though Wednesday from 6 am to 7 pm.  Thursday through Saturday from 6 am to 9 pm.
