Legend Trail in Parkersburg, Iowa still open for golf

That’s right and we had over 50 rounds of golf on our little 9 hole golf course. 59 degrees for a record high temps, 1956 it was 54 for the old record. Supposed to be 48 tomorrow so you might as well come out, buy your 2012 season golf pass and play some golf. Now only 83 more days until April 1st, 82 if it wasn’t a leap year. But those that were born on 29th of Feb finally get to celebrate another birthday. See you tomorrow at the golf course.
Panthers, Hawks and Cyclones all win in Basketball

The Northern Iowa Panthers, Iowa Hawks and Iowa State Cyclones win in basketball Wednesday Night. AWESOME. Now the Panther play AT Drake for the Mythical state championship. Nice weather in Iowa brings out golfers tomorrow so remember it is a bonus day of golf, relax, enjoy it otherwise you could be shoveling SNOW…so don’t, well complain, if it is too slow, the greens are slow, conditions aren’t perfect–remember IT IS JANUARY in IOWA. Want perfect? Head South. So SMILE tomorrow as it is one day closer to April 1st.
Election Year and WE vote for more weather like this

G3 Golf in Parkersburg, Iowa says it is an election year with Iowa Caucuses happening tonight and we say “We vote for more weather like this”. This kind of weather certainly helps the economy for all kinds of reasons. Only 13 more days to SAVE on your 2012 golf pass, driving range pass and trail fee pass. It’s the start of a NEW Knuckle Knight year, so a new membership of $5 must be paid next time you stop in to see Jay on Wednesday. We will donate over $500 again to a worthy charity from our Knuckle Knight crowd. I wonder if we could give over $1000 to a worthy cause in 2012? See you at Legend Trail.

We at Legend Trail think that 2012 is awesome already. Just look click on the picture and you will see how green we are. Okay so the picture was taken in the summer but we still have NO SNOW…and we LOVE IT. Ted says we only have 86 days until April 1st. So don’t forget that you only have until January 16 to save on your 2012 Season Pass and then the rates go up.

The Tap Room will be open on Monday for food service from 6a-1:30p. It is Margarita Monday and the bar will be open until 7 pm, so stop by and have one with Jay. Panther Basketball on Sunday at 8 pm, still time to go get a ticket.

Happy New Year, may 2012 bring each of us more of what we wish for, bring more dreams closer to reality but above all enjoy family and friends.
