G3 Golf endorses the new PGA of America plan to grow golf. We are looking for you golfers that already play golf, those that played in say the year 2000 and haven’t played since and finally those that say I want to golf but “I am scared”. The Northern Iowa Panthers, Iowa Hawks and Iowa State Cyclones win in basketball Wednesday Night. AWESOME. Now the Panther play AT Drake for the Mythical state championship. Nice weather in Iowa brings out golfers tomorrow so remember it is a bonus day of golf, relax, enjoy it otherwise you could be shoveling SNOW…so don’t, well complain, if it is too slow, the greens are slow, conditions aren’t perfect–remember IT IS JANUARY in IOWA. Want perfect? Head South. So SMILE tomorrow as it is one day closer to April 1st.

We at Legend Trail think that 2012 is awesome already. Just look click on the picture and you will see how green we are. Okay so the picture was taken in the summer but we still have NO SNOW…and we LOVE IT. Ted says we only have 86 days until April 1st. So don’t forget that you only have until January 16 to save on your 2012 Season Pass and then the rates go up.

Legend Trail is open for the ISU and Iowa Football Bowl Games

The Tap Room at Legend Trail in Parkersburg, Iowa is open for both the Iowa State Cyclones (2:20pm start) and Iowa Hawks (9pm start) on Friday. Happy Hour pricing is in EFFECT so stop on by and watch these two football teams battle for their bowl wins. Come on Hawk Fans, Coach K and staff always do a great job of preparing their team. Coach Rhodes has done a great job at ISU with his passion. So stop on by for breakfast, then lunch, then dinner then watch the game on one of our 5 TV’s. Go PANTHERS.

We had a fun day today, a lot of late arrivals for lunch, as they must have been out exchanging the gifts because their New Year’s Resolution will start next week, so they exchanged that XXL shirt for that Medium shirt they will fit into in 90 days. To help you with that stop by Legend Trail tomorrow, have our world famous Veggie Beef Soup and buy a dozen ProV’s for $8 off normal price. Go home take a nap and come back and see Jay for Knuckle Knight. Remember to have Rum and Diet Coke, it has NO CALORIES (Ken Appleby told me that in 1988 at Beaver Hills CC when I was a young assistant, still believe him today). Don’t forget to call for the New Years Eve Party and KIDS are invited and welcomed.
