waverlygclogocolorfinalJerry Hennings, a lifelong resident of Waverly won his first City of Waverly Golf Championship.  Hennings shot 69 in his initial 18 holes and held on with a 39 on the additional nine holes held on the back nine.  Ryan Keller closed with a 36 in the final 9 holes to finish second for the second straight year.

Fred Bowers, shot a fine round of 72, to win the Senior Division.  Chuck Sipple finished in second.

Hennings followed a couple of weeks of fine play in the Waverly Invitational to win his first ever Championship.  As most of us know, Jerry has been trying for a long time and finally defeated a talented field of golfers over the Par 70, 5,888 yard golf course.
