Our Golf Course Superintendent

2008 Iowa Golf Course Superintendent of the Year

John Kofoot is our excellent golf course superintendent.  Named by the Iowa Golf Course Superintendents Association as their 2008 Golf Course Superintendent of the Year.  He brings a great work ethic and desire to give you great golf course turf conditions.  John helped build and put in the irrigation system at Legend Trail.  So he has been here since 2005.  He pretty much knows every inch of the place prior to 2008.  Now with the clean up efforts from the tornado he really know each and every inch.

John was the golf course superintendent at Fox Ridge Golf in Dike, Iowa prior to his service at Legend Trail.  We will add more to his bio as he lets us.

Our Head Bartender

Jay Anderson, our expert bartender.  He was there all summer while some of you stopped by our temporary clubhouse.  He is a huge Viking and Gopher fan having lived most of his life in Minnesota.  He always has a smile on his face and loves to laugh.  Stop by at night and challenge his mixology abilities.  More on Jay later.

Dave Westendorf has joined our staff.  Many of you may have seen him at Waverly Golf Course the past couple of years.  Also Dave has been helping at the All Golf Center.  Dave brings his happy, friendly spirit and vast customer service to our facilities.  We will drag a few more information on Dave and post it later.

Shawn Krusey helped at Legend Trail and the All Golf Center.  He assisted John in maintaining the golf course to its hi degree of condition.  Shawn is attending Ellsworth CC where he is punting for the football team.  Shawn would like to punt at UNI and if he continues doing what he did a couple weeks ago he just may.  See the post on being National Junior College Special Teams Player of the Week.
