Our Retired Cook/Chef

Satch Paige has since retired from our staff at Legend Trail.  He was our outstanding cook/chef with a vast amount of experience.  He strived to bring you great, consistent food at The Tap Room and trained our kitchen staff on all kinds of food prepartation.  He is a Dike original now living in Waterloo.  Satch suffered a couple minor strokes in July and August and had to leave us to protect his health.  He was only 77 years young at the time.  We owe a lot to Satch in helping get us started in the right direction.  He showed us homemade soups and how to make good, consistent, quality small town food for those that wish to eat that sort of food.

Our Chief Hostess

Terri Mason fills in where she is needed.  From All Golf Center to Legend Trail.  Some of you may have also seen her at the Cedar Falls Younkers store.  She can do about anything including putting up with Greg.  More on this NU High graduate that actually played basketball in high school in spite of her height.  Loves to see all of you each and every day.

Chief Everything

Stephanie “Moose” Mason, the do it all of the family.  She just loves to help where she can and has become Greg’s right hand lady in the back.  Graduated from Dike-New Hartford in the Spring of 2009.  Loves cross country running, anything UNI sports related and no she doesn’t really golf.

Dave Westendorf is our do everything.  Dave has been a huge asset as he works at all three of our facilities.  He works in the shop, in the kitchen and has been helping John on the course the past three months.  He goes where he is needed and I don’t think Dave has ever had a bad day–Mr. Positive.

Tiffany Walters joined us to help with the wait staff team.  She has been a welcome addition as she is well known in the community.  She is well known for her stories of intrigue.

Jerry was our last addition to the team.  Jerry won his first ever Waverly City Championship this year after nearly 59 years of trying.  He likes to be referred to as Champ since his title in July.  But based on how he played at the end of the year he will answer to Chump.
