Valentine’s Day had some fun, George Clark a hit!!!
February 16, 2009
WOW!!! Backwards even, WOW!!! We served over 110 people for our Valentine’s Dinner/Dance. Even saved a highway patrolman on Saturday Morning (inside joke)!!! George Clark was a huge, I mean huge, hit. Our Parkersburg people are already asking when we will have him, back. We will keep asking but he is in huge demand. Our own Satch came out of retirement, again, to sing a few tunes with his friend/accompanist George Clark.
Though we didn’t do everything, perfect, we sure tried. Jay said he never even got to look up as he was tooooo busy serving drinks to you, well big drinkers. Terri, Taylor and our relative John Michel, worked hard at getting the food to you in a timely manner. Satch and Steph did a nice job of getting the food out to you in a normally hot manner. By the way, they were both warming up for their duet in the back, but Moose did not perform with Satch. Maybe next time as he must teach her the words to those old-fashioned songs.
Thanks George, Satch and all that were still there singing “Happy Birthday” to Taylor on his 21st birthday. His dad hated having him work on his special day, but he is a trouper and said he could work, thanks Taylor.
We look forward to our next big wing-ding, St. Patty’s Day at the “O’Tap Room”. We will bring the Irish out in all of you.
Steph took some pictures so here they are…
I wonder who will be sitting here?
Satch and George entertaining the crowd.
Taylor being sung too by Satch and the masses for #21…
The crowd…we have more but we better protect the innocent. Valentine’s Day 2009
